I thought may be makes sense to run you down my current go to brands when it comes to ultimate love for fashion.
We are going to celebrate Fashion like never before.

But yes for someone like me whose sartorial choices have changed drastically & have now moved from quantity to quality, I ensure or atleast try to invest rather than splurge. Sing Your Song !! OOTD Monochrome

If I have to tell you that the world of trends is delusional & it is the new menace,Fashion for all is hardly a novel conceit.

But Hey, that might just be good news. One can say, democracy has finally hit the Fashion World & how? Fast forward to 2013, there is less mystery for daily Fashion lovers.

Anybody who has keen interest in Fast fashion, like myself is open to world of Instagrams ,Regrams & Social Media. Style has penetrated to each. Behind the scene details, not only are the designs and styles more accessible than ever, the entire industry, from inspiration to presentation, are exposed to anyone with a keen curiosity.

Having said that, how could one embrace trends in daily wardrobe. Back to school outfits or skater skirts, Body con dresses or shift dresses. What is for whom.

Being a lover of Fashion & Style , I believe that the best way to do fashion is your own way. Everybody has their own aesthetics & punch, that shouldn't be forgotten.

The delight is Do it your way.So Ladies, Sing Your song !!

Setting in these thoughts , Done by None is already a Game changer website bringing all the trends just a click away. It is clear a winner in its category for fashion & everything pretty.

My outfit here is an inspiration from Monochromatic dressing which is a rage right now.

Where are you ?

Where are you,
In splashes of deep sea,
Or in dreams
Often my heart screams
Your name.

I could whisper,
all my love
in my heart,
Your name.

A wish like a shooting star,
You are still so far
Where are you
:By me

Sometimes there are feelings only words can express coherently, that is when one should give in completely. That's also why one feels every ounce of romance in a song or why so many people understood Beethoven's music. Or even why you would risk everything for that one & only one or why romance remains the bestseller on shelves.

Why Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet is a tragedy penned is still the most frequently performed play?

The references are plenty with symphony of that one world where one surrenders to the other & the reasons are manifold. Sometimes it’s not reciprocated in all parts of that twinkling world. There are heartbreaks but one despite the wearily moments wears it again up the sleeve with aplomb. And that is why love is a journey not the end.

The emotions are purely personal & even a Fashion blogger is allowed to express such mushy stuff once in a while with her (hopefully accepting)readers.

Yes, I am resolved to wander so long away from you until I can fly to your arms and say that I am really at home with you, and can send my soul enwrapped in you into the land of spirits ...Beethoven’s magic in his composition.

Till Next

Stop & Look !!

With an eclectic array of celebrations that come along with Birthday madness(Teehee), you are bound to Stop & Look. Just Like I did !!

If I look back, I dont see myself in a new light or transformed person , but few affirmed beliefs that are for the keeps. One of those being taking a Stop.

We're always complaining about how little time we have and how overwhelmed we are. We whine about all the interruptions and communication overload. It's ironic, I know. To curtail this there is no fixed formula but a intention to put a stop. To reinvent the thoughts because only you can do it . To let go off things that arent helping you in anyway. It's a cure to manic circles of many self created issues.

Okay ,moving on to the Outfit, not wanting much from you but to Stop & Look. Won't you ?
It has always been the case that I look for comfort over anything else. Though I might go over the top couple of times depending on the occasions & mood, I have forever found my personal style to be Minimalistic Chic .Also Utalitarian is called for because I love trends.Who doesnt ?

The Highlight of this outfit is definitely the comfort in a crazy hot day while your are outdoors painting the town Red.
A little bit of layering to throw in colors.Sunny Mustard in this case.
A perfect matte sequined Tank Top.
Also, featuring a layered Ruffled skirt to add just the right flounce.Not-to-miss Python Print & Horizontal tiers.
All the statement pieces stay pretty at home for a while & dainty accessories are being played with
A statement Clutch with Snake print / convertible to Sling .
A pair of Flats with a pretty Flower on the Top sparing you from all the discomfort.

If you are still wondering how the Outfit looks like . Here it is :

Tea, Anyone ??

Colors of Monsoon !!

How else would you describe a trip, when the moment you land at your holiday destination, you are welcomed by the whimsical generous showers. Never been to this city of myriad treats. This is Bombay, the city of stars and this was my personal rendezvous with the city of Glitz.

This trip was dedicated to sniffing the street side that the city had to offer, the cafes and the street style, which of course didn't let me down & I was nothing but exhilarated to absorb all of it.
Bombay Fashion style, I found very laid back & Boho. The colorful umberellas only add to the element of abounding colors. Yeah the colors of Monsoon.

Here are the personal pit stop details for you :

Shopping in the mad rains was no mean feat, but getting inspired by the localities I braved it & fell even more for it. The streets I frequented with my girl was Hill road for bags & accessories. You shouldn't be missing it she said.I am told the city is brimming with such delightful street shopping stops. Also, Mumbai is one of the biggest exporters of clothes, so it makes sense to pick up pieces for a fraction of their price charged. I could not go mad with shopping because of stomping rains but I am up for next time. Moving on ,there is a mix of departmental stores, brand outlets, street-side carts and regular shops that sell mainly clothes and accessories. One can also find many restaurants and cafes dotted along the miles long stretch of this road.

Linking road Market /Khar Linking road & waterfield road are other similar streets I could explore. The place worth a mention here is Cafe Basilico purely because of ambiance & mouth-watering dishes. Not to be missed when you are there,if you take my word for it,trust me the conversations would flow. Bora Bora is another hot spot on the same lane.
For mall shopping, Infinity Mall in Malad was my delight.Bombay has such a Cosmo vibe & speed of the city is like current.

Apart from the street side, my experience with Luxe & Glamour begun at Taj Land's end offering the best of both worlds - breathtaking views of the sea and the energy of city life.Must mention is the Atrium/High tea/Coffee shop where the stars frequent throught the Day.I saw couple of stars & icons of Cinema like Dilip Kumar in just my small spent time there in shop. Also many of my favorite Celebs  lived right next.So during my stay, I kept oscillating between Luxe & street side of the city.Mornings were spent mostly admiring the beauty of the Seaside.

It would be unfair not to mention the noise of the silent sea right next or the customer friendly Auto drivers. It is no mess traveling despite the overwhelming monsoon of the city right now.

Also , I could go on but here I leave you with my Insta bytes of trip.It was a perfect getaway to say the least. Can I be pardoned for not being able to have proper outfit pictures but hope you like the blogger's Insta takes :

Can't do without Coffee & Arm Candy for the day

Tryst of Red coming with a ruffled Pink Dress for outfit of the day.
A perfect red printed cotton dress with Spiked ring & Purple slippers.
The special Lunch at Bora Bora. The shoulder cut out Tshirt is from Zara.

The view

Unpacking makes me sob

This trip was more than special in many ways. With a perfect holiday coming to end, comes planning for the next one. I read somewhere that the one who thinks the most about a holiday is the one who has just taken one which holds true for me right now.

Special Thanks to S for being a perfect host & showing me around. XX

May I ask , when are you planning next getaway because the only thing keeping you away from it is you.

Till next
